My work has been taking me to different places lately, and one of the more interesting ones has been Washington DC. Here are some pictures I took when I managed to get a few spare moments. Unfortunately, these were expensive pictures.  The place where I parked (yes, I fed the meter) became a “no parking zone” during rush hour. I guess I missed that sign.  The ticket cost me $100!!!! Ouch!  I guess that is how they are trying to balance the deficit in Washington - with parking ticket revenue! Anyway, the sights were neat.  I have been to Washington before, but not since I was a Boy Scout, so some things have been added. Check out the pictures of the WWII memorial. It was impressive.
